PREPARATION

  1. Dry the steak well.
  2. Wash the mushrooms briefly and halve the large ones.
  3. Warm the frying pan slowly and add the oil.
  4. Add the steaks as soon as the pan is hot and sear them on both sides.
  5. Turn the steaks regularly and add the butter.
  6. Remove the meat from the pan and keep it warm on a plate under the aluminium foil.
  7. Add the rest of the butter and let it turn brown.
  8. Let the mushrooms simmer in the butter for a few minutes.
  9. Pour the cream into the gravy and bring to the boil.
  10. Spoon the mushrooms over the steak; add the gravy separately.
