What we are looking for:

As an E-commerce Merchandiser, you will be working with the E-commerce manager and commercial teams to ensure the web shop is set up in the most optimal way to maximize sales opportunities and deliver a best-in-class customer experience.

Your focus market will be Germany. Your number one focus is improving the daily shopping experience of our German customers. On a daily basis, you will make sure the web shop is best in class to maximize sales and profits on mobile and desktop. In order to do so, your role will be divided into 4 main missions:

Operational:

  • Products: Checking prices, managing product data, managing new product uploads and category builds, promotions or trends, making sure that they are sorted and displayed in the most relevant and commercially-attractive way.
  • Content: Making sure that the product descriptions and general content of the website, both text and visual, is flawless and that our value proposition stands out.
  • Navigation: Optimizing the taxonomy, facet and top navigation to enable customers to find the right products within a couple of clicks.
  • Search: Identifying and analyzing what the customer is searching for, making sure that they can find it. Optimizing through product recommendations, up- and cross-selling opportunities
  • Optimizing overall SEO.


Analytical:

  • Weekly Reporting on webshop performance based on E-commerce metrics, providing data-driven insights and recommendations to further optimize the conversion rate.
  • Conduct deep dives to better understand our customers’ online behaviors and trends.
  • Maintaining and daily monitoring of performance.
  • Measuring results of optimizations.


Market research:

  • Identifying potential development requirements and necessities in terms of products, campaigns or promotions in your specific market.
  • Being up to date with the country’s trends in terms of cookware and E-commerce.
  • Being proactive to suggest new ideas and implementations.


Collaboration with other teams:

  • Working closely with the product, brand, marketing, design and digital marketing teams in regards to product management, campaigns, SEO, etc.
  • Working closely with the Salesforce Product Owner especially regarding backlog & development improvements.

This is you:

  • A degree and experience in the following areas: E-Commerce, Merchandising, Marketing, or relevant.
  • 3-5 years Merchandising experience within E-commerce
  • Fluent in English and German.
  • Flexible and proactive mindset, not scared of a changing environment.
  • Strong communicator - clear and concise.
  • Target driven and analytical - able to digest and understand numbers and determine their meaning.
  • Able to multi-task and work to a deadline.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Tech-savy: experience of using a website CMS or E-Commerce platform, product databases and proficient in Excel.
  • Can-do attitude, who has the eagerness, passion and drive to succeed in a demanding and challenging environment.
