    Rated 5 van de 5 door uit Great quality and design We're an Asian family and I grow up with a wok always in the kitchen and cook everything with the wok. A great wok with good care can use for 10 years or more in Asian families. It's difficult to find a Chinese wok in Europe - they're mostly western wok. The biggest difference is that Chinese wok is suitable for steaming, deep-frying and frying so it has to be big in size. I have been using this BK Chinese Wok 3-ply for 2-3 weeks and I'm very happy about it. It came as a package with stomerinzet en rooster. The size is great for cooking for 2-5 people. Great quality. What surprised me is how fast and evenly it heats up with the electronic stove. This helps me shorten my cooking time very often. A low quality wok does not have 3-ply material and heat doesn't spread evenly or fast. The steam insert is big and deep enough for me to put a deep plate in when juice is expected in the food. When choosing a wok, I also considered whether it's made by 18/8 or 18/10 type of stainless steel for good corrosion resistance, durability and health during cooking. I'm happy that this product information has mentioned 18/8 and 18/10, while some other sites do not mention this important information so I'll just regard them as not made by 18/8 or 18/10 stainless steel and not buying them. The two handles on both sides can be hot from cooking. I think it's because in this way the wok can also go to the oven for fish and stuff. But I personally haven't tried this way of cooking.
